• It is very important to prevent unauthorized access to the MaxStream RF modems.  These devices are vulnerable to intrusion and must be coded for security reasons.  All MaxStream wireless devices have a VID (Vendor ID) and require a four digit hexadecimal number. 

• Type a four digit decimal number in the (dec) box of the Converter Tool.  Click the results tab and a hexadecimal number will appear.
