Set all dip switches to the off position

Connect an ethernet cross-over cable and power connector (9-30VDC, 400mA).

Plug the power adapter into a 120VAC receptacle.

Install the Moxa NPort Management Suite software –> http://www.moxa.com/support/download.aspx?d_id=1292

Select Local Area Connection and then Properties.

Select Local Area Connection and then Properties. 
Scroll down the list and select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). 
Select Use the following IP address and enter an IP address that is similar to the Moxa NPort 5150, except for the last two digits.
