MOXA EDR-G9004 Series Introduction
The Moxa EDR-G9004 series delivers a next-generation
solution for enhancing industrial network infrastructure with both high
security and reliability. Purpose-built for mission-critical environments like
railway transportation, road transportation, and IP surveillance, these Moxa EDR-G9004 routers offer powerful
safeguards to defend against cybersecurity threats and ensure data integrity
during transmission. Each device in the EDR-G9004 series is designed to meet the
evolving requirements of secure industrial communication. With advanced
features tailored for smooth integration, the Moxa EDR-G9004 secure routers
enable uninterrupted operations and support robust network performance. These
Moxa routers combine high-performance connectivity with built-in network
security appliance capabilities and give industries the tools to maintain data
protection while optimizing operational workflows.
The Moxa EDR-G9004 series comes equipped with two
10/100/1000 Ethernet TX ports with RJ45 connectors and includes Gen3 LAN bypass
to maintain communication even during unexpected power losses. Additionally,
the two combo ports support both 10/100/1000BaseT(X) and 1000/2500BaseSFP
connections and offer deployment flexibility for complex network
configurations. These Moxa routers are designed with removable terminal block
connections to simplify installation and routine servicing; no advanced
expertise required. Operating within a wide voltage input range of 12/24/48 VDC
and supporting redundant dual power inputs, the EDR-G9004 ensures dependable
performance even in unstable electrical environments. With a power tolerance
from 9.6 to 60 VDC, these routers adapt easily to varying industrial power
setups.
Built for rugged conditions, the Moxa EDR-G9004 features a
durable IP40-rated metal housing that protects against dust and harsh
environmental factors. Installation is made versatile through DIN-rail and wall
mounting options, and the devices are engineered to perform reliably in a wide
temperature range. An integrated firewall strengthens network security and adds
a vital protective layer to safeguard against intrusions and unauthorized
access in industrial settings.
