EDS-G2005-ELP Series
MOXA EDS-G2005-ELP Series Overview
The Moxa EDS-G2005-ELP Series is a compact line of
industrial Ethernet switches designed to strengthen industrial network infrastructure where simple, reliable connectivity is required, positioning it
firmly within Moxa’s Ethernet switches portfolio and the unmanaged switches
category. In industrial applications, the Moxa EDS-G2005-ELP Series plays a
critical role by delivering stable Gigabit communication without configuration
complexity, making it a practical choice for factory automation systems that
connect PLCs, HMIs, and controllers, as well as IP surveillance networks that
rely on consistent bandwidth for cameras and monitoring devices. These
industrial Ethernet switches feature five Gigabit Ethernet ports housed in a
compact plastic enclosure, ideal for space-constrained control cabinets and
edge installations that demand dependable industrial Ethernet connections. To
enhance versatility across different industrial use cases, the EDS-G2005-ELP Series allows engineers to enable or disable Quality of Service (QoS) and
broadcast storm protection (BSP) via DIP switches on the outer panel, ensuring
stable traffic control even in unmanaged network designs. With a 12/24/48 VDC
single power input, convenient DIN-rail mounting, and strong EMI/EMC
performance, this series is built for long-term operation in electrically noisy
environments. Its -10 to 60°C operating temperature range, compact form factor,
and 100% burn-in testing further reinforce its reliability after deployment,
making the Moxa EDS-G2005-ELP Series a dependable unmanaged Ethernet switching
solution for modern industrial networks.
