Gigabit transmission increases bandwidth to provide higher performance and transfer large amounts of video, voice, and data across a network quickly. The redundant Ethernet technologies Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and RSTP/STP/MSTP (IEEE 802.1w/D/s) functions increase system reliability and the availability of your network backbone.
